The ANTS project strives to create an exciting, immersive, and dynamic realtime strategy game using the Spring realtime strategy game engine.

ANTS is an acronym that stands for Advanced NanoTechnology Soldiers. Coincidentally, the theme of this game is warfare involving six-legged insects also called "ants". You begin the game with one queen ant, with which you must create a colony to destroy the enemy. As your ants become more experienced, you can upgrade their capabilities or equipment.

Key elements in the gameplay of ANTS are territory control, information warfare, large scale military strategy, upgrade strategy, and causing more damage to the enemy than they cause you. The economy of the game is based on territory control and damage dealt to your enemies. To enhance the gameplay experience, rich 3D content, animations, and effects will be put into the game. Additionally, intuitive and attractive graphical interface design will be implemented, and a dynamic battle music system is in development.
